interesting fact:
evo, sti, m3.
guess which one of them is cheapest to insure...
yep, its the m3.
they also take into consideration the age group that are driving the cars, and how safe the car is. M3 falls into an older age group and is the safest out of the three, hence the lowest insurance rate.
but everyones rates vary.
$900 a month is just insane.
you should be around 4-5k a year.
roughly 350-450 a month. for full coverage.
if your listed as the 2nd driver rates go down significantly.

Car Info: 02 WRX wagon=dead; rollin' in a Craptastic Camry!
If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it!
Seriously, the only way to know is to call around for quotes.
I'd guess the insurance companies expect you to wreck your car within 24 months. Assume 30K of damages divided by 24 months and there's your answer.

currentlly paying 240 a month for my 04 wagon and 98 mark 8, full coverage.
when i was 18 (21 now), insurance was about 500+ a month for an e46 m3 and a 97 mark 8.
i was primary on both at both times, though i did switch companies within that time.
im sure this doesnt help sway your decision, but no nice car is "cheap" when youre 18....
youre screwed w/ insurance untill you get older (or married)
