I was amazed by those numbers too, and by the suggestion that the PPP wrx needs an intake But it was a great issue overall...

And I dont think the EVO is faster in the 1/4 mile, especially considering the HP difference and simular weight, and the numbers ive seen from other mags...

To date, I think Motor Trend is the only mag out of 6-7 that has placed the US spec Evo as faster in a straight line than the US spec STi. Unfortunately, no mag has the STi as "more fun" or "better handling," too bad...subaru is lucky the Evo has such a small gas tank and is so a la carte, or else I'd....aw, who am I kidding? I'm not getting either for quite a while

Both times were within a quarter second. The STi has more area under the torque curve which should equal more street drivability. That's enough for me!

STI vs Evo

I read that too. I think that Motor Trend is full of...well you know! Even in their past issues, they have never said too much about the WRX. If you look at one of the STI pics up close, note the gender of the driver! Maybe there is our answer! Hope I didn't upset anyone!

Dude, the EVO can't run that fast stock...

it's only got 30 more wheel horse power than a WRX....

That media version is ****ing BS... Why won't they use one off a dealer lot? it would be a different story...

****ing BS

Thumbs down I subsribed...

I get their mag because I like their Viper Venom issues, however I have heard (and it seems) biased towards a more favorable or higher bidder. I dont know if that is true and I there is no proof.

However I am still trying to figure out how they gave the PT Cruiser car of the year

edit:spelling
