Maserati MC12
Read all about this slippery beast in the next issue of AutoWeek (March 15), but we also couldn't help going ahead and giving the MC12 (Stradale or Corsa, take your pick) our editors' Best in Show for Geneva 2004. Working off an ever-so-slightly detuned Enzo 6.0-liter V12 powerplant made this one automatically attractive. Even more attractive is the packaging overseen by Frank Stephenson and originally penned by Italdesign-Giugiaro. It's everything we love about Enzo and Italy with more enticing proportions and contours all around. MC12 also signifies Maser's bigtime return to international motorsports in the FIA GT championship mid-season in 2004 - right where it should be - and the Corsa version in mat dark Maserati blue with the company name draped all over it is about as awesome a standard bearer as any marque could hope for. Exactly the goosing Maserati needs to get their sales ball rolling and set the brand on it's own crystal-clear course¡Kat 205-plus mph.

that is freaking hot but look how low it is to the ground, you could hardly even track drive that w/o taking off the front bumper
