400-450hp will be my goal
should be easily obtainable without the silly gas. should certainly surprise some Viper/Vette/Camero drivers too.

You're missing the point. I don't want to have to pull my engine and rebuilt it. And I want torque!

I would say go LS1 cause its so different then everybody else. The 20B three rotor is pretty tight too, but thats more work i thought.
OH yeah what about dropn in a LS6 motor and a Lingenfelter twin turbo setup. I dont care if its to much power. I think anyperson who loves cars would give you made props cause its the best of both worlds. Import+domestic+boost=pretty cool?

I don't think there's enough room under the hood for a TT setup. As it is the hood clearance on the front of the engine is tight. And besides, those upgrades are very expensive.

I don't remember the compression ratios for the LS6 or LS1. But I do know that they can go FI.

With proper gearing I'll have plenty of traction. I plan to use the 99 Spec RX7 rims with are 255/40/17 in the rear I believe. They will be wide enough. Hinson's car ran 11.4 on 245 street tires. And he has 400rwhp.
