The Ford GT's are one of two cool Fords in my mind. It seems to me that Ford is actually a rather respectable company everywhere EXCEPT the US. I really wouldn't mind an Escort Cosworth ala WRC before they switched to that damned Focus RS. Not that I would actually want the Cosworth for an everyday car, just something to think about. If I were to have one car it would be either an STi Forester, an STi WRX, or a Volvo S60 R. All turbo, all AWD, all roomy enough to be practical and quick enough to be fun.

I have a co-worker who drives a Delorean as his daily driver. It is indeed slower than poop (the Volvo engine, transversally mounted, is around 120 HP) and the stainless steel paneling is really tough to maintain. However, it does get some interesting stares from people as you drive by. You have NO rear visibility at all -- it is just a slot in the back. You also get to see the suspension and oil pan of a lot of SUVs, from way down there.

Inline 4 turbo... imagine the possibilities
1) The 645 is already faster than 99% of what's no the road... why mod the motor?
2) Those possibilites mirror those of the Evo, only in an older, more abused car.
