Viper's havent been mentioned because they would be a pain in the **** to live with everyday. The Vette Z06 or 911 Turbo can toast a Viper in the twisties but it would be easy to live with everyday.

We're talking about being stuck with a car for the rest of your life -- Viper would be WAAAYY down my list. I've ridden in one several times, and they are 1) uncomfortable, 2) serious work to drive, 3) can you say COP MAGNET? and 4) burn gas like crazy -- 16mpg if you're lucky.

My vote, out of all of these, would be a BMW M5. Sleek, not too expensive to fix, efficient, stealthy and silent as the wind.

Oh yeah I'm not sayin that V10 isnt hot but everyday I couldnt deal with the downsides of a Viper. I think I would pick the SRT10 (Ram with Viper engine) over the Viper itself after what I have read about it.

MMMMM how could I forget the M5. I would be torn between that and the new CTS-V. I know the M5 is more high tech, a bit faster, and the build quality is better but I have a thing for the chevy small blocks. Plus the CTS-V will probably be even rarer than the M5 and I think its even stealthier.

BMW M5. Lots of cars can do some things better, but nothing can do everything better.

Benz CL 600 or CL AMG can do better than an M5. Takes alot to be in that range. My cousin has an M5, drives it on nice days only.

The CL600 and CL AMG are hot except they are automatic tranny only which immediately kicks them off my list.

Wait till the new M5 comes out next year (5.5L V10, 500+ horsepower, SMG gearbox and weighs less than the M5 now). That would be only car that would make me have second thoughts about the Porsche 911 Turbo.

yeah, those are great cars...but still only come as automatics, if I were to get an audi it'd be a highly tuned RS4 sedan
