how about putting some parts on the car. backfiring reminds me of a pinto or old beat down pickup truck

ok...

a) you mean afterfire (backfire is in the intake I believe....really not good)
b) its caused by unburnt fuel in an extremely hot exhaust system
c) unburnt fuel means your engine isnt running as efficiently as it can which means you could be pushing more HP and probably arent going to "punk your cousins evo"
