i was told almost any turbo from any car will fit is this true

i was told that any turbo would fit my car, if it was from a honda eclipse or whatever it would fit but i dont think it would it this true

Car Info: 1993/2000/2001 GF4 mostly red

No this is not true. Only Mitsubishi flanged turbos with internal wastegates will bolt up.
