Granted the the Mazda Speed Miata is a nice car... but for the extra cash I would go with the S2000! If I had the money though I would go with... *drum roll please* the LOTUS ELISE
this car is gonna be FREAKING EVIL
2100lbs
189hp 6sp
thats all you need to know! o and that it will cross the 1/4 mile mark in the low 12s plus the Elise is one of THE BEST handling stock cars out there. Granted it will cost $40K but O Baby will it take on anything in a small to mid road course or any car under $90k
UM UM GOOD

Yeah... most definately I want the Lotus Elise as my next car whenever that would be. I would try to scrape money just for it. Yet, I do see the reasons why people would be attracted to this Miata instead. This Miata is mighty fine and cheap bang for the buck with tons of cool stuff and a huge aftermarket has already been based for the Miata crowd.
I don't think you could go wrong with this Miata. It's pretty sick! Also, it's a macho on steroids Miata so none of that stereotype of a gay guy driving a Miata. If u get this car, show those ignorant losers with a little speed. =)

But right now the MazdaSpeed Miata is a better value than the elise,
But as I have repeatedly done in this thread, I need to point out that I'm not interested in tracking this Miata. It's a daily driver

Yeah, that's the MazdaSpeed intercooler. It does the job at 7 psi (hell, probably doesn't even need one for that much) but I imagine there are some nifty front mounts that will drop right in.
