When someone does the 'pace next to me' routine, i first attempt to speed up a little, then slow down.... and if they still are trying to stay right next to me I either:
A. hit the brakes REAL hard to decrease speed and then change lanes behind them (again see above post for proper conditions before any sort of automotive hooliganism as this is attempted)
Or usually just:
B. Look over to see if they are serious and really want to race then just point at them with index finger and begin an over-exagerrated knee-slapping comical laugh....

A good laugh tells them more than any speed exhibition ever could.... That they're just a joke and not worthy.

What are you, 14? I'm 15 and its crazy how many people thing that doin that to their car is cool. I show people of the ride im getting ('04 WRX) and they're diss it, then show me pictures of '99 Civics with wings and slammed to the ground, and theyre like thats a ride...
I'm like 227hp, AWD, and a turbo or dubs, scraping, and 747?
I know my choice, I dont need to make fun of them for theirs.

I do drive a 99 civic coupe EVERY day (for now... and i get raced or revved on all the damn time. I is on the stock end of mild and is slow as hell. I only get on it getting on the freeway and i hate getting revved at because its either by a car that is waaay faster and would whip my *** or its by some kid or cholo in some rice out car ( rice for me always happens to be an 88-91 prelude, or some pre-88 crx, or a damn escort. whip-*** rides are anyone i know to have a REAL built honda, wrx or evo and so on)
my mods are as follows-

-2003 civic si R&T

I usually ignore them and not even look at them. When they shoot off the driver would usually look back thereby taking attention off the road.......which usually means they have to brake hard for the next light or whatever gets in their way.
Then at that light i'll just look at them and shake my head in disgust.
On the freeways i drive ultra slow just to **** them off (and to deter the cops)

easy... just turn faster laps then them. they show up for an autox w/ their pimped out rides.... and i still turn faster laps w/ my almost stock 97 L.
what really cracks me up is the nice wrx's that show up for ice trials. they have 200+ hp on me, but cant turn a faster lap than me. they all scratch their heads, i laugh. "get some studs" is all i say when they ask me about my lap times.

Almost every car in so cal i see are rice. Me and my friend count the number of rice going to school haha. The only thing i think about when i see a rice (civic or integra mostly) is why do they do that ? Well i dont care what anyone says Subaru's cannot be rice even if it tried

I have a black WRX wagon with black rota wheels and a straightpipe no muffler, and the car has been called rice on two occassions by white youths on the street. No stickers, no stuffed animals, no bodykit....what gives?
It seems everyone needs to have those Altezza lights to blend in now

What's crazy is that the "rice" trend has invaded Japan. About 2 years ago, there were NO riced out honda's. Now I'm starting to see more and more of them appear on the streets... Everytime I see a BIG WING on the back of a civic...I want to puke.
It's invading my community(rx-7s) the most it seems. Seems as if all the turbo Honda's that made a name for themselves are being over-run by the D15 honda's painted bright yellow with racing stripes/fart cans...makes me feel bad for the car.

I take offense to that I have owned a lowered 89 scort ( Stock xcept for the wheels tint and stereo ) and a 91 Prelude all stock and fast as hell.
