ford does make good trucks, and my old green escort wagon was pretty badass (what, say somethin) but lets face it even with 500hp the shelby isnt much more than an engine with wheels.

actually the shelby is much more...ford cant just put "shelby" name on any ford car...they actually have to get Carroll Shelby's endorsement...and he doesnt put his name on any car...it has to meet his criteria whatever that may be...
being how old Shelby is...pple are guessing that this might be his last muscle car..kinda why the markups are high...No one knows what the future may hold for this car...a lot are guessing that it will be a collectors.

I know when I had my Lightning, I drove it to 82k and had absolutely no problems with the eaton supercharger or block itself. I still managed to sell the truck for 2k more than I owed. and something with 500 rear wheel horse power isn't meant to turn, just straight lines. its like comparing apples and oranges.

when i was 15, my brother had a 97 mustang gt w/ supercharger and "rfl" side pipes, thats when i fell in love with american v8's.
but as i gotten older, i started liking turbo much and much more :x
i'd pick rousch over shelby, much better suspension though just shy of about 50 hp.
