the comments on that vid are funny, like something you would find on forums hawaii... one guy claims the test was unfair and wasnt match properly. lol i agree, the sti was too good!

it is a shelby....but isnt the true super snake...they tested a shelby gt vs the true shelby gt500...shelby GT is basically a regular mustang GT with cosmetics...though even the true shelby GT500 wont outcorner an STi stock for stock. it would need help in the suspension dept. but straightline....itll eat up an STi...they put out close to 500 underrated stock with a somewhat similiar detuned Ford GT powerplant.. 5.4 supercharged DOHC. theres a few roaming around Oahu....what sticks out the most is the wheels...front fascia and hood scoops if you ever do come across them.

ya the supersnake is gonna cost quite a bit more and if you put that extra into a new sti it would still knock the ford's socks off. hell i would still hands down take a new stock sti over the gt500 and not just cause i love subys so much, its still gonna be a more balanced car. although for that kinda money the new GTR would probably be my first choice.

^ mmm teh sexy. only downside is that its so perfect i wouldn't know what to modify. its already pretty slammed so you cant really lower it and there is so much engineering into that suspension that i dont know if i would even want to mess with it. same with the engine other than perhaps some mild bolt ons but again i think it would be tough to beat whats already on there. i spose you could maybe throw some different wheels on it but im sure the stockers are probably light as hell and already fill out the fenders well. so that leaves a new paint job and a maybe a crazy body kit and well.... i dont like rice so thats out. but hey, who is complaining its one hell of a car.
