The Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift.....
Ok, have to ask it....
Who is planning on seeing this movie?
My opinion....(keep in mind I screwed around in Japan from 1993-2003, did some drag racing, Gymkhana, a little Drifting and basically being a bad Gaijin the whole time)
This movie is the STOOPIDEST piece of garbage ever to be put out. I honestly hope that no one takes it even remotely seriously. The portrayal of the "Street Scene" in Japan is total crap. What they show in the trailer looks like a H.I.N. show versus what really transpires during the "witching hour" on the streets of Japan.
I would like to see it...only to laugh at the entire movie. But then again, I'd have to pay for it...and I refuse to do that....anyone gonna let me borrow it when it comes out on DVD
These are just my opinions....curious to see what anyone else thinks about the trailer and the movie (and the series of them).

this is what america does to everything...music, cars, cultures, lifestyles...it gets blown up to a degree that isn't even realistic
I dunno I might see it, but I haven't made it to the theater lately anyways.

i'll watch it... if someone else rents the dvd and plays it at their house.
theres no way im paying admission to a movie theater to watch this. don't get me wrong, i'm glad that drifting is finally getting recognition, but to stick the "fast and the furious" label on it is disgusting!
the worst part is that now theirs going to be a bunch of kids trying to do this stuff on the streets.

The problem is too many fools WILL take this movie seriously.
It is a total misrepresentation of the street scene in Japan. The cars are "Riced" out to high hell. Which is BS last I checked.
