Easy Street's ride on the cover of Turbo Mag

Anyone see this? It's a blue Impreza from Easy Street on the cover of Turbo Magazine. I saw it the other day in the grocery store and was shocked. 19 inch chrome wheels on a high performance WRX? What's that all about? I mean, I can appreciate the bling factor if you own a luxury car, but on a performance car? Frankly I was dissappointed. I have the ultimate respect for the work that they do on Subaru's, but I just couldn't believe those wheels. Anyone else seen it? Am I missing something?

i saw it as well and i was not impressed.

its ugly and it is not anything special it just has NOS, what makes it special and why should it get the cover? I think they missed the boat on this one

unless I missed something

I didn't read the article. I pretty much saw the cover and put it back down. I'm sure it's got something big under the hood coming from Easy Street.

Here's the problem though. Turbo is going downhill. They refer to nitrous several times in that areticle as NOS, big no no. Plus they keep featuring cars that are show boats. We are running out of magazines and fast.

They're all the same. Everyone of those magazines is owned by Primedia. They all have the same influences.

That car was at the i-Club Track Day. It is very fast. Bling wheels were on only for the cover shot. The car has Volks on. The car is very fast.

Don't judge the book by its cover.

SportCompactCar is still better than the rest, just not as good as before Scott Oldham took over. (Whether that's his fault or his boss's boss's fault is unknown however.)

I didn't doubt that the car was fast, I was merely making a comment on the wheels...
