Cobras don't have pushrods.

13.9s in a stock gt is good, i had a tough time gettting below 14 on a stock cobra..stupid wheel hop..boooo..lol Actually my buddy with a 02 GT running a procharger kit was having a tough time getting below a high 13's cause he couldn't launch properly..lol hes running about 430+ to the wheel.

I also had a '97 Cobra that wouldn't dip into the 13's like it was supposed to. I even installed a new clutch, and intake on it and still was in the low 14's. I know that out of the box the '96-'98 Cobras and new WRX is a very close match up in terms of drag racing. Although now with basically a stage 2 setup, I'll easily walk a stock Cobra. (been done) I do miss the sound of that Cobra though. After you hit 3250 on the tach it opens up those second set of valves and just sounds awesome. Oh well, I'm much happier with the WRX now... peace out!

But as of now im no where near stock im just not running what my car should be running cause frankly im a shoddy driver. Ive got LCA's, new shocks/struts, Drag Radials, O/R Xpipe, and Catback and thats it. This summer im installing 4:10s so that should be good for another .3 to .4 off of the ET.

Don't you think 4.10's is a little steep for a 2-valve? I can see using them on a Cobra, but a GT doesn't make much power past 5k or 5,250rpm. Maybe try calculating what your rpm will be at the top of fourth gear and make sure you'll be at the peak of your power band at 1/4 mile.
