Yeah I meant body kits. But I guess the sti supention would be better than the one in the RS. But I like I said I am not gonna get a car just to get chicks but it would be nice to have it help out.

who needs refinement and looks do as bruce said and let the 400 horses under the hood do the talking for you. Besides i can't actually say that i nor anyone i know got hooked up with the girls we're with because of our cars and they don't all own Subarus either.

Yeah I guess. I have almost seen and heard of girls ready to drop to there knees over a guys car that's all. And since I soon will be single again I figure why not. The reason I didn't see them was cause they was with my firend and it was not like he was gonna let me watch.

When I first met the girl that I've been with for the last 2 years, the first thing she asked me was: "What kind of car do you drive?" At the time it happened to be a BMW 325i. But instead of telling her "BMW" I said, "WHY?!" because I didn't want her to date me for my automobile and my money. 2 sides to that issue, ya know?

I would have never even considered this an issue. just test drive one and the dealer will need a crowbar to pry you out of the STi. IMHO bimmers are just waaaay over-priced German Civics with a good heritage. The 5 and 6 series are pretty nice, but the 3 series is just a bimmer to tell people that you drive a bimmer. Just my opinion though.

i think bimmers are hot, i'd sport one so i could hangout infront of tea places with my cigarette and red hair.

i did drive an STI though, and all i can say is pow pow power wheels! that thing is a freakin monster.

even if chicks don't like STi's....nobody does a double take at a bmw 330....theyre a dime a dozen nowadays. The STi on the other hand, is something special, and it stands out in the world.

But jeez...these are really just such opposite ends of the spectrum...sure they both have AWD and four doors, but what about something in between? Infiniti G35x perhaps?

Yeah I guess I will get the STI plus most of the parts I have will trasfer over to the STI. I still think they can improve on the car a lot but I will always love subaru.

A Civic is FAR more reliable than a BMW.

^^indeed, my civic has 100k on it and all I have ever done to it is oil changes and brake pads. has never had any issues and I drove the hell out of it before I bought my WRX.

And to contrast that with my '89 BMW 325iX...by 90K miles it had the following stuff done to it:
-Engine rebuilt, under warranty
-Transmission was replaced
- It was on it's third center differential
-It was on it's third set of front brake rotors...but I will say the brakes were really good on that car
-Front control arms had been replaced
-The ECU had to be replaced
-Throttle body had to be replaced
-Radiator had to be replaced
- many oil leaks

What a piece of crap! lol
