Bad gas mileage..........

I had replaced my stock filter with an aftermarket one and my gas mileage has gone down bad. I really didn't think I had such a heavy foot. Has anyone encountered this before?

It was a SARD filter that replaced the stock box. Was there something wrong with the dots? It only implied that it was a question. I won't use the dots again.

Its not a good idea to run your car til the light comes on, but that is still more miles than i can get. Someone suggested reseting my ecu. How do you do that for this car?

There are several ways to do it. One that I use is to disconnect the neg terminal of your batt, then depress the brake pedal for 5 or 10 secs. This will fully discharge the system. Then wait about 10 or 20 minutes, reconnect the neg term and your done.
