why? cause I bought my POS wrx that wont turn any heads at the gas station instead of a Cobalt that I drove the same day? You know what I find really funny? You claim the STi is so badass and will turn all heads when you roll into a gas station, but to the untrained, and more common eye, the STi's and WRX's look the same except for the larger wing

Old man? Kid, I'm 32. By the lack of your intelligence, it's clear you're not anywhere near 32. You're too dense to even realize that I'm just getting a thrill out of watching you get all worked up.

Go play with your hand-me-down WRX already.
Actually, he put a lot more thought into it besides "I'm going to go buy a brand new spiffy sports car from the local dealer and let all the power inflate my ego." He knew what he wanted, and got what he wanted. Hes one of us few people that would rather have a bugeye than any other year.

"God, please, tonight make it so that we can ALLLLL be just as cool as that guy Sinister Subaru. I want to have the money to buy an STi so that I can rub it in other peoples' faces so I can feel good about myself. I want to have a car to boost my ego. Please God? TIA."

omg, there's so many directions i can go with this one.

Old...You're old. Get over it. Mid life crisis much lately? STi, having to talk hit to people on the internet, sounds like an allergic reation to the viagra. That or your boyfriend finally realized what a douche you are and left your pansy ***.

And man, once I hit 30k spent on my car...it'll be able to not only dust the **** outta your POS STi, but probably your buddies with the 10 and 11 second rustangs, including the smarty who tricked you into thinking his car was stock.

You know nothing about subarus, so it's no wonder that he pulled a fast one on you. It's ok, maybe your old age is killing your site to the point that you don't notice the difference between a tuned car's trap speed and a stock car's trap speed.

Sinister, I think that we should let it lie and move on. That or you can keep getting owned on here and making nonsense points. Your 32, to some that is young, to us your old. No offense to be taken, but your old.
I still think its funny that you say I asked you no questions. How about this one, if you remember,
So me paying 23000 for my WRX and then lets say 750 for a wing and a few STI badges will make my car and your car look identical. So now who paid to much for there car. If your going for just looks then you got the big wing and hood scoop and a few STI badges. The car you have is probably very nice looking because 99% of all STi's are. The thing is, we didnt buy our cars just to look nice. We bought them to mod them and that is what we are doing. For you to say he bought someones ***** is your opinion. He bought the car he wanted for the price he wanted for the reason he wanted. To me that sounds like the perfect purchase. And by the time he does invest the money to equal what you put into your car, he will run circles around you. I know you dont run at the track and just want a car that will handle nice and all of that. Well, son, he will be able to out handle you also.
check this out: I want you to tell me if I ran my car at the track if you could tell that I had the following mods:
1. Cobb AP stage 1
2. STi intercooler
3. K&N Typhoon
4. Helix Cat-back
5. STi pink springs
6. Cusco rear sway bar
7. Helix end links
8. Helix downpipe

answers: 1 no 2 no 3 no 4 yes 5 maybe 6 no 7 no 8 yes
unless you walked over to the car and looked closely and asked a few questions you would think, just an exhaust, maybe springs.

I haven't put anything into my car. I didn't have to. I did an ECU tune and a freakin' air filter. Sorry, but it's going to take more than pink springs and a sway bar to outhandle an STi.

And don't forget that I can mod an STi too. I just choose not to.

Your swaybar will do next to nothing for your 1/4 time. In fact swaybars will make your worse performance for your car on the 1/4 track. Why do you think that all of the guys with domestics remove their swaybars when at the track?

Wow, end links really do a lot!

K&N Typhoon? That'll stick out like a sore thumb.

See, those mods there are trivial. Like I said, it'll take a hell of a lot more than that to keep with even a stock STi, and I'll stand by my word. Even with all your little "go-fast" mods like an downpipe, intercooler, air intake, and Cobb tune you still won't make more than about 260 whp.

Enjoy your pink springs. Now you'll be able to outhandle Civics with bad camber kits.

See, I never said I would beat you or out handle you. I just asked that out of these mods, which could you see when at the track unless you came over to check out the car first hand.
And you say you dont have anything put into your car, but on another post you say you have an AP. Whats up with that mister Sinister????
Oh, and for the record. I could care less if my car ran 18s at the 1/4 mile. I want it to handle well more than anything. A sway bar will not help my time on the straightaway, but sure will improve my track time.

I said I have nothing more than a Cobb Stage 1 and K&N air filter. Learn to read.

Oh, and I wouldn't be bragging about living in good 'ole backwater Fredericksburg....

FYI, my hand me down WRX does just fine for me. Holds it's own against STi's, I could honestly care less about you, from what I see you are a smug little loser of a man that has nothing better to do than try to put everyone down, and feel big about yourself while you do it.

Probably still live with your parents too.

Can't say I've ever been to Fredericksburg. Is it nice?

Live with my parents? Actually, I live in one of two homes that I own. How'bout you, Mr. Bigshot?

Smug? Of course I am! Look at who I'm talkin' to!

Loser? That's fine. At the end of the day I'm the loser with the STi, and you're just a loser.

Oh, excuse me...like Frederick is that much better.

Me, no don't own a house yet. I'm too busy and moving around every 3-5 years.

Loser...no that is still you. Whether or not you own an STi, I have a feeling that you have always been and always will be a loser. Just keep telling yourself otherwise.

Actually, you wouldn't be able to afford a home in Frederick so it wouldn't benefit you to try anyway. But yeah, you could say it's "that much better." You wouldn't even be able to afford a townhome here on your McDonald's paycheck, even if you put in 80 hours per week.

What's next? "I know you are but what am I?"
