Your opinion on cleaning up wheel rims from slight curbing
Sometimes, no matter how careful you are you get some scratches. I even got one from some flying road debris.
The problem is, these are bronze color. So I already sanded one area down and it's barely noticable because it's a light bronze.
Here's my dilemma. I plan on selling these wheels or at least trying to. Would it be better to clean up all the rims, in effect giving them all a silver lip with no scratches at all and match them or leave them alone?
Two wheels are untouched, one has a tiny spot and the last rim has the short cleaned up section that is already silver from buffing out the scratch and taking off the bronze coating on the lip.
I sort of want to clean them and I don't think it will look at all bad but at the same time, I'm worried that someone will think I abused my rims and had to sand all of them.
What do you think?

what's the ROI, if any, from this "clean up"?
if nothing, leave them be and sell them for what you can get. rims are wear & tear items, so it's nearly impossible unless your car is a garage queen that rarely gets driven. i put my Volks through hell, but why buy nice rims if all you're gonna do is look at them, right?
