Not trying to argue, but there's definitely not that much. They bring in extra bleacher seats for Raider games. The capacity is probably in the mid 50's including Mt. Davis. We used to go to many games back in the early 2000's when they still had the top open, and the only games that sold out typically were against the Angels, Yankees, Red Sox, and Mariners. And I'm pretty sure the attendance based on those scoreboard quizzes were in the low 40's.

Here, I found the Wikipedia stats:

1992-1995
47,313
1996-1997
39,875
1998-2005
43,662
2006-2007
34,077
2008–present
35,067
Let's go Oakland!

You are right, I forgot about those!

Based on what came out today from Lew, the tarps are covering 11,000 seats. And looks like attendance yesterday was 38,000. So a max capacity of 49,000 is going to be possible should we advance!

Thank you A's for the incredible season. This team was nothing short of amazing. From the 7,000 fans on those mid-week games to the sell out crow at the ALDS finally, you guys played your asses off just the same.

You guys have made many new life long fans and plenty of great game memories.

Thank you for letting us be a part of this amazing year!

Hiroyuki Nakajima signs with the A's.

Reporter: Why did you choose the A's?

Hiro: Because Billy Beane is extremely sexy and cool

LOL!
