State settles with driver hit by then-state Sen. Carole Migden

The state reached a $335,000 settlement on June 29 with a motorist whose vehicle was rear-ended by former state Sen. Carole Migden (D-San Francisco), said aides to Atty. Gen. Jerry Brown...

...Migden...paid $710 in fines and fees.
But wait...there's more!!

Migden lost a Democratic primary for her Senate seat last year, and was appointed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to a $132,000-a-year job on the Integrated Waste Management Board, a panel that meets once a month and that the governor has said is unnecessary.
This liberal ***** gets off scot free & gets a promotion!!

Aren't they going to name the SF raw sewage facility the George Bush waste facility? Seriously, not joking. I remember reading about it a while ago.

PS: Changing California by taking 130,000 a year that could go to a school and help children LEARN! You have any idea how much $130,000 is to a school?! Especially an elementary school where kids need resources such as computers and such?

Hmm, according to legistorm.com the California Senator salary is $174k/yr. (for Feinstein and Boxer) so $132k/yr, while still a large amount of money (and an insane amount for doing your job 12 times a year) is actually a demotion for her Paul
