Programmers are a dime a dozen. People act like they are a super smart group. I watch them come and go through different sites all over the world.

Actual engineers who really are extremely intelligent are not going to smoke pot. They likely hold high level clearances because they work on gov't funded projects(lots of money), and get drug tested, polygraphed, etc on a regular basis.

Even upper echelon IT support is still IT support. They are mellow because it's a brain dead job.
actually you are right. The people I know work in aerospace and defense. They have a laser in space that can shoot down a missile

We're both electrical engineers IIRC (You from Cal and me from Stanford) so let's assume the other has a certain baseline level of intelligent reasoning to justify our opinions.
Hey neither of those are MIT or cal tech

jK good stuff

But can you honestly say your EE degree can hold a candle to a doctorate in physics from those schools? (I am not calling you dumb in any way. I am sure you know this but I just want it to be 100% clear)

I have my two bachelor degrees. I still say they look dumb / like toilet paper compared to a doctorate in fluid and thermo dynamics physics.

I didnt name names. But we can start with stephen hawking jk
