Not because the Iphone4 is out, but because almost all companies base their apps and come out with apps first, for what? THE IPHONE. There are certain things I do and would be best convenient with an iphone... because there are apps that make these things for the iphone itself. This of course makes me =\, cuz it leaves many other out.
Apparently Android markets are also receiving 1st come first serve creation of applications for these particular products. Makes me sad as a customer of a different smart phone that companies other than android or apple have coders that take 2-3 versions (1-3years)behind to finally come out with an application for their sites.

Are you cool with paying at least $20 MORE a month (if you have Sprint) just for the same phone plan, just to have an iphone? That is, in my book, a ripoff. Even if the apps take longer to come out, paying an extra 120 a year just to have some apps (even ones that are free) is out of my book.

If you want to wait and see if the Rumors come to Life, Verizon is Rumored to be getting the iPhone in January 2011.

I'd wait to see if it comes out on a new carrier. Lots of rumors about tmobile and verizon... More competition would lead to better service and cheaper prices. I've had my 3g since Jan 09 and won't upgrade until the rumors pan out or go away. I love my iPhone but the dropped calls are annoying to say the least.

I might end up joining the bandwagon too with the iPhone 4.
I was dead set on going HTC EVO 4G, but found a couple of reviews saying that the music sound quality is still better on iPhones and iPods. Not good since I listen to music all day long.
Any of you know if I can bring my own microSD to a Sprint store to test a few songs on their demo/display EVO, so I can make my own judgement?
