the yakima rack sedan mod...
the snow is coming soon and for who might wanna do this:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ht=yakima+rack
may want to think twice. i did it, it sounds like an awesome idea. But i find myself wishing i never did it. i drove around for a week with it on and i found that the moded clips rubed on the side of the rain gutter causing it to take the paint of be scrached off...(thank god for touch up paint..) anywho.. just trying to let people think twice before doing it. i did it hoping it will let me open and close my door without thinking the windows will brake and save my paint from being ***ed up but yeah.... it ***ed my paint waayyy the **** up... i found that the reg wrx clips won't touch the windowes as long as u have them on tight enough and at the right points. what a waste of time and money...
edit... and it couldn't even make my towers fit on the way that guy had his... his is on the roof and mine sat on the black strips
