Hunting I don't really see as a sport either, but marksmanship I do. Hunting utilizes the same skill set basically though, so it could go either way, but I don't see the "sport" in killing something that is just living its life. On the other hand, I have ground squirrels up the wazoo and they are extremely destructive, so I shoot them, but that's not for sport. Those little bastards are quick and there's no getting close.

I can hit something the size of a person at 100yds with a pistol. With a rifle, well there are plenty of hunters that can easily take medium game at over 500+ yards because a good rifle set up with good optics can definitely get you to 750yards right out of the box.

Side story to that, my buddy and his brother were hunting hogs. He accidentally came upon a ~400 pounder and had no choice but to shoot because it would come after him. He shot it straight on and hit, but hit in the shoulder where it was protected enough that it didn't go down. It charged...he said if his brother hadn't been there to get it from a different angle, it would have killed him. That's a whole different world of sport.

werd. We had a bunch of hogs on our property back in the day. One day I walk out there and there's two native americans. Big *** dude. Couple thick pits. I'm like... what are you guys doing. Guy says... landlord told us to take care of a couple hogs so we're going in. I'm like... no guns?

Guy says nope... just need this and points to the huge knife on his hip.

GNAR!

I've only heard "eating competition", never "eating sport".

From Wiki
Competitive eating, or speed eating, is a sport in which participants compete against each other to consume large quantities of food in a short time period.

One of them kinda did. Just about as big too. Dude was huge. The other guy was a little smaller though. But yeah man. Both of them had long dark hair. Tripped me out. Guy told me how they did it. Pretty ballsy for the dogs and the guys. You miss and your hosed.

If eating is considered physical exertion, then by all mean call it a sport. I don't agree.

I sure never become exhausted from eating, just become full.

Really, if golf is a sport this **** counts. Doing backflips on a snowmobile is equally as stupid as walking around a park in ****ty clothes hitting a tiny ball with your bag full of sticks.

Snowmobiles are meant to take you places. Clubs are for killing baby seals. Just because your doing something novel doesn't make it exciting, interesting, or a good idea.

... but its still probably a sport. Hell, bowling and billiards on ESPN...
