www.baic.net -- the "cheers" of i-clubs...
There is a new web site up at http://www.baic.net. The goal is simple -- we want a simple pleasant environment where people can meet new friends and find usefull information about our common love, Subarus.
If you want to join a website that is based on the idea of friendship and community, then go here. If you want to help other people out with your knowledge in a particular subject, or hold BBQ's, or have install fests at your house, then come to http://www.baic.net. If you are looking for real help with your problem, or just want to meet some new friendly people, come to http://www.baic.net.
If you are a troll, then do NOT come to our site. If you just want to cause problems, waste server bandwidth, and generally irritate people, do not bother showing up -- please. If you are under the impression that what you do, say, or act like on the internet doesnt matter because none of these people are your real "friends", then do not bother coming here.
If I havnt done a good job of describing the site, then just come check it out for yourself. Give it a shot, you might really like it. We dont want to be big, and we certainly dont want to compete with NASIOC (or i-club.com) who have both done an awsome job at creating huge user sites. We want to be a small close-knit community.

Plus, I don't want to get all political on you, but how can you just "start" something and call it BAIC without even asking me or telling me and then just come over here and tell me how NOT real this place and how you NOT GOING to get tech info here and how this is NOT about freindship.

I am going to have to back Diranged up on this. I dont think in anyway he is being disrespectful he is trying to make a good place for people to post and BS about whatever. If it is the name you are so worried about work something out to change it, but be an adult about it. Imprezer you seem to very childish right now, he asked you to PM him to talk about it and your response was "Why would I PM you?" be an adult and talk things out maybe you guys can work something out for the good of both boards. As for him not being a member of i-club thats not right either I have met him a few times at the MVKK. Also if people want to go to his site so what. I joined it so did many others. Try working with each other, I feel like I am in high school....Sorry for taking sides but this is crap has to stop everybody needs to grow up.....

He started the "BAIC" without notifying me. I am not in the position to work anything out. He should have contacted me prior to that to make those arrangements.
He posts something. I simply reply and say he is being disrespectful. He posts something nasty, then self-edits it and asks me to PM him. AFAIK, I said what I wanted to say, and that was that he was disrespectful.
I didn't say he is not a part of i-Club. I am just saying that if he wants to start an i-Club chapter, he needs to notify me. Then by all means we'll work together. Thats how I did with at least 10 other chapters.
If you re-read his post, you will notice a series of low blows at this site. Thats what I thought was disrespectful.

However, I find the site harmless. It's not much more different than our own chapter here on I-club.
So, leave the site how it is, and NOT post for recruiting.
