wth: My dipstick is showing low

Key word "Race Engine" as In an engine that has been perfected to get every oz of power with the longest life span possible... Sure M1 works for them as they need a super thin oil because of their tight tolerances, suby engines are not built like this. Look over on nasioc there have been quite a few threads about M1 being garbage for our engines, I'm not bashing M1 by any means just stating that It Is not the best oil to use with these cars, plus why spend 30+ dollars in just oil per oil change and then add 2+ quarts in between lol M1 aint cheap
So, I would say, your full of ****.
However to be fair, I change my oil every 2500-3000, and only use M1 filters. Sure it costs more, but IMHO worth every drop. I have run castrol synthetics when they first came out in a Nissan z24, and inside of 2 oil changes it tossed a rod...something it had never done on M1. Was it because of the castrol...I do not know, but I know this, ive lost a total of 5 motors all running castrol (the z24, and 4 vw motors(1641,1835,1835,2230)...so its left a bad taste in my mouth for any product made by that company.

And for the record a 'race engine' is meant to run for one race or possibly a series. They don't run tighter than stock. That would be ridiculous.
For example, standard con-rod oil clearance on an EJ257 is (0.0007 — 0.0018 in)
