Like you said "I don't care for his crying. He's the man that defines the LB position". How many times has the sentiment been used about athlete's or celebrities that have been all but convicted of violent crimes? Hell, look at Chris Brown. That piece of crap is more popular now than he was before he bashed his gf's face in.

I aint mad bro. I don't have to live with whatever the truth is, but he does.
Yes.

and I agree. It's shady, just like with OJ. But without hard evidence, it's nothing.

Civil suits are completely different, and only have to do with money.

What I can tell, they settled so he doesn't have to stand trial on the murder.

Otherwise, if I have it wrong, then he settled for his civil suit, which has nothing to do with his criminal suit... which can only mean that the DA never went after him, probably cause there wasn't enough evidence...
They went after him in the criminal trial but since there was lack of evidence (bloody suit missing and no dna on the knife), they knew it would be hard to prove them all guilty. The state then offered Ray Lewis a plea deal where he would turn on his homies for a lesser charge (money buys you this) and he took it.

The civil suit he settled before it went to court because for civil cases, you need far less evidence and Im sure the family didnt want to spend years in court with money on lawyers they dont have.

You like the guy, I dont. We'll leave it at that.

I don't like him at all. But I won't stand here and say he's guilty when ****ing lawyers can't do that same.

Innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately that is rarely the case when public opinion enters the mix.
