Thanks mike, kellie and everyone else being helpful. I don't see this in any way being shiv's fault or Full Function's fault. I should have upgraded the transmission before trying to throw that much power through it. It was bound to happen, I'm just upset it happened 900 miles from my home. But now is the perfect time for a six speed swap, or maybe a V6 gearset!!

And also, if you guys can help me out, I need to find a company that will ship my car back up to me in WA. I'm just going to leave it in my garage until I can afford a stronger transmission instead of replacing it with another stocker and risk blowing it again.

I don't see how this could be Shiv's fault.

When you upgrade or increase performance you add another possible point of failure.

Increase HP and the tranny / clutch become the next in line.

Upgrade the clutch / tranny and the differentials are next in line.

Upgrade the diff and the axels are next...

It's never ending.

If Shiv was driving and missed a shift and blew out a gear, that would be a different story, but I don't think that is the case here.

If the stock tranny is meant to handle stock power (maybe even less), than it is only rational that increasing hp is going to put more stress on other components and likely cause problems.

Better have it happen in the bay area than somewhere in BFE on I-5.

I don't think AAA has a 900 miles towing allowance.

a deer killed my car 450 miles away and I towed the darn thing back on UHal for ~$350 one way. Good luck!
