Can't get them anymore. Not worth it. Get a WRX 2.5" one and have the flange rotated.

Yeah, I've been looking for used ones and just barely missed one a few months back. Are you suggesting getting a Stromung for a WRX and having a shop rotate the flange?

AndyC has an STi catback on his '02 Foz that he rotated the flange on and it sounds pretty damn good. The price is certainly right.

Yup. Just make sure it's the 2.5" and not the 3" if your car is still NA.

But of course, still NA for now Sounds like you're gearing up for a swap. How close are you? You can PM me if you want to keep this thread on topic

correct

I have the current m2 performance brand and love the sound of it. It has about 5k miles on it and the welds on the exhaust hangers connected to the muffler are starting to crack. My buddy is gonna reweld them for me, but other than that, no issues. You do need to run extra long exhaust hangers or you will be hitting the bumper and eventually it will melt.. I have 2 extended hangers on both muffler hangers and it still hits my bumper, I was too lazy to get a third and dont care about my bumper so I never got the 3rd.

Right now the cheapest one has caught my eye.

I might just go custom again. Need to weigh my current catback and see if I can find weights for these catbacks.

Yep that would be correct. Likely 500 since they are low supply and high demand. Bought mine 2 christmas ago for 800 and some change shipped to my door.

It looks sweet if that's the case. I found a guy on CL that might sell me a 3" stromung catback (not sure if he's surrendering the dp too?) for likely $300 because he wants an invidia. I went over to hear it in person and it sounds sweet but it's a tiny bit on the louder side of hella quiet (if that makes sense) from what I could tell on youtube (not very clearly) it sounds like the whisper is smack in the middle of the hella quiet range, correct me if I'm wrong. I would put a COBB with the stromung on sound quality. If this guy ends up selling (still seems iffy for some reason) I would pay his asking price and be on with it butif not I'm definitely interested in yours...

I need to go down there and check it out. Hearing them in person makes the world of a difference.

When I've recorded sound clips of my car with my iphone 4s, the sound is pretty dead on if there isn't wind.
