I always thought the turboxs stealthback was pretty damn quiet. Couldn't even hear it in my friend's wrx, except literally stamped on the floor.

I've got a custom axleback with a magnaflow tip (no muffler) I love how loud it is, but sometime doesn't sound like a subie...

I've had a hush, it was too quiet...and it looks better if you spray the muffler black and leave the tips chrome

I've got a bosal catback in the garage now...supposedly they made the spt exhaust...its a twin tip too, haven't put it on yet though

My maddad catback might be going up for sale soon. Best exhaust Ive ever had but I need to start saving up for a 6 speed.

Do you have any pix of it? Or a video of what it sounds like i.e. in the car on the hwy, revvs, idle... Might be interested...

It's the double tip situation that's throwing me off I think... Doesn't work with the bumper cut imho

I've heard those up close, too much on the raspy side I think

I've got it down between stromung, whisper and the COBB (all flat muffler, single tips). I heard a very good sounding invidia today that looked like a can-type but wasn't crazy loud at all. The car was stage 1 though - no dp.

Daddy's SCP - Home of MadDad Performance / MadDad Exhausts for Subaru and BMW

Look under exhaust tab, looks like a generic stock sti exhaust but sounds really good unless you're looking for a loud exhaust. Its more of a bassy sound but opens up on WOT. Youtube videos dont do it justice. If you're ever by the evergreen area, you can hear it in person.

So you have the single tip right? 3"? how much would you be asking if you were to sell it?

WRX/STI GD TURBO CHARGER STAINLESS CATBACK EXHAUST MUFFLER 3.5" OVAL TIP+BOLTS | eBay

Good God that's cheap!

2002-2007 Subaru WRX STi 3" Stainless Cat Back Exhaust M2 | eBay

Dang, I didn't know M2 was still around. Always loved their exhausts.

Man, I had no idea catbacks were that cheap. At that price, I have no reason to go custom anymore. I'd rather save the cash and be 5 or 10lbs heavier. ( I mean, it IS at the very bottom of the car.)

Gimmick Motorsports 3in Catback Exhaust 02-07 Subaru Impreza WRX & STi | eBay

Gimmick looks good too. That muffler is a stromung. No doubt. Pretty distinct shape and hanger arrangement.

Thats the setup i have. Gimmick is GMS. It sounds good. The fit could be better but for the price i paid i cant complain. A quick trip to an exhaust shop and 50-75 bucks later it will be perfect fit. Still cheaper than other systems out there with a nice stealthy look and a good sound.

Here is the Hayward and Scott Page. They seem to still offer exhaust systems.

IIRC, I read on a post somewhere on here that the current M2 selling exhausts on ebay is not the same m2 as from before...different company owns it or something along those lines
