you can get em on ebay pretty cheap most of the time
i want one real bad

right now i do series of push ups and pull ups on a chinup bar
i also get a folded up blanket, drap it over the chin up bar and hang from my knee's then do sit ups

plus i have a small lifting bench which is nice
but bowflex beats it all

Why would you want a bowflex? I hate those fake weightsets. My work just bought a Wieder Cross Bow. It sucks! Get you a good olympic bench and a 300lbs. weight set. If you are hella macho, add some weight to that. It is about 1/2 the price and it isn't spring loaded! lol!

Damn expensive for a "weird" machine.

I tried one in the past... and it was... well... "weird". Free weights I prefer much more... but thats just me.

nobody wants a lecture, but free weights build muscles better because you have to stabilize the weights dimensionally in the air.

Hey Vince, SR costco has them now also. I'd stick w/ Ebay. I have a bowflex and works great for me. I used to have a gym membership but it was too much of a pain. Then I had lots of weights but they require too much room.

I just got it a few weeks ago. Seems to work fine, except I really don't like the leg extension, nor is there many good ways to work out the legs.
