WRX radiator inside NA 2.5rs

Hi, just wondering if a stock radiator from a turbo WRX will fit and run smoothly in my 00 2.5rs. I don't plan on swapping, just I need to change my radiator (mechanics advice) and I found a guy selling his for a good price. From my search I found it should fit with the bottom mounts but I would have to custom make the top mounts. I just want to know if the car will run smoothly with a WRX radiator even though Im still using the stock NA rs motor. That and would i need any other moddifications to make the radiator run smoothly with the NA engine. Thanks for any input.

As long as you add a little extra water/coolant your water pump should be good enough to compensate for a slight increase in volume. People get larger radiators all the time for all sorts of cars, I wouldn't let it worry you as long as you can make it fit. The WRX radiator is not that big of a unit anyway.

I don't think there is a size difference and even if there was, it wouldn't be very much. I recently replaced my radiator for my03 RS with an aftermarket OEM knockoff. When I received the the radiator, the invoice stated it was for a Legacy.

Make sure you replace the top and lower radiator hoses. Don't forget to allow your RS to idle for 10 mins so that the radiator fluid can circulate. After 10 mins, turn off the car and let it cool alittle before you add more fluid into the radiator...if needed.

I guess that when i "burp the car". still sketchy on it though, not too sure when the car is done burped out.... i guess when the hot coolant begins to flow out after a good 5-10mins.
