There's a GT3 that I drive past weekly at Stanford...it's a thing of beauty...I've stopped and gotten out of my car and drooled over it three times already!

Saw a yellow one parked on Clement Street in the City tonight. That's a car I would trade my subie in for.

I KNOW!! the thing is, these cars ARE rare, and what, cost almost 200k? geez, seems there are more gt3's floating around then turbos - which cant even touch the gt.

This IS one of the richest areas in the country! Perhaps lots of dotcom CEO's had to unload their GT3's fast!

I remember when I was excited about seeing an M5...now they're like 3-series around here.

ive always made the comment that the Bay Area ruins the buying experience of a really nice car. with the exception of true exotics, i guess every other car is fair game, you just see them all, EVERYWHERE.

That is so true, there are so many expensive cars rolling around in San Francisco alone. I'm not kidding when I say I see Bentleys and Rolls Royces at least twice a month. Not sure if they're the same ones, could be half the time. Just two months ago I was driving next to one on 101 South right after the 101/280 split. I was in awe, it was an older Bentley, but, well, it's a Bentley. But go down to LA and expensive cars are a dime a dozen.
