for home, I would just get the linksys or cisco modem and a separate linksys router. Recommend a RVS4000.

I've had a apple router and it's amazing. You can actually wirelessly send music through your router to a stereo if you have it hooked up to a AUX jack on a stereo. You gotta have itunes tho also!

Meh, any capable layer 3 switch will have those features. Put it in a production environment and see what hapens. lol iunno, bad experiences for me with anything other than L2 from netgear....and even then its sketchy; some of the straight switches of theirs I've used have crazy intermittent packet loss.
