My mom got a ticket for tint when she had 15% tint in the front. She just removed it, paid the ticket and tinted it again but to 35%.

preferred image in redwood city. Its right by the dmv, I had them tint my windows at 30% really wish I hadn't listened to my gf and went with 20% like I had on my wrx. All 7 windows on my forester cost 200$ with lifetime warranty. I have taken all my cars to them and have had zero problems.

Its just my personal opinion, but do not do huge jumps in shade for your front to back windows it looks absolutely horrible. Really you should just do one grade the entire car for it to look best. 20% is pretty dark on a wrx due to the small windshield not allowing much light into the car.

Yeah her car now has 35% front and 5% back. Good luck seeing out the back at night with 5% in the rear though I have to stick my head out the window to see anything at night.

ill keep that in mind, and I do agree with you on the look.

well, when I check out imprezachiangs car, ill make the final call on darker or not. my parents car has an aftermarket tint, I just dont know what % since it was a used car. I got acustomed to that.

BTW, is the "lifetime warranty" an add on price or does it come included with the purchase of the film?

Thanks

oh geez 5% sounds way to dark then. How does the 35% look on the front at night?

Its fine, even 20% is fine. It all takes getting used to, but I will never do 5% again. Rocked the limo tint all windows in high school, was badass during the the day. Then it decided to get dark and I realized I couldn't see anything haha.

35-25 is ok if you have dark interior. Thats what my impreza is and my fiancee is fine driving in the dark with it.

Honestly I could barely tell the difference between 15% and 35% during the day, and at night the 15% wasn't much darker either.
