Did you reset your ecu?

If this is true, please don't drive the car any further.

Yea, that's what I figured and coming from you, I believe this more.

Some more fuel for the fire: I was told the previous owner of the Blitz Nur Spec (subydood03) didn't use gaskets and was smacking his exhaust around when trying to get it off, because apparently, when he put the exhaust on it was torqued down tot he max - so that there would be no leak without a gasket.

*shrug*

a Danville/Roseville roundtrip on a barely running car is a bit much.

Did you touch anything else during the swap? O2 sensors...untighten bolts...drop something into your intake...

i also call shenanigans.... call Ed and he'll definitely let you know...

If you can't go to Paul @ DB for free or call Ed and this all doesn't make sense... I call Shenanigans.

I don't think anyone's saying that your car isn't having issues. It's just that no one believes trading nearly identical axle backs is going to do it... It's something else for sure OR you are THE ONE AND ONLY PERSON to ever have such an issue

ok first off i dont want to get pistol whipped.... and the gasket thing wasnt me....i didnt install my exhaust i bought the car with it already on there. and i wasnt wacking the exhaust around, i was wackin the wrench that was on the nut, cuzzz every one knows that a quick torque helps break loose a stuck nut.

second, yea the drive to paul would be way to far. but the offer is much appreciated

third, im over it, you guys can stop talkin about it now. yea the car had issues, i wasnt blaming any one i just thought it was the trade but i dunno anymore. but its done. sooooo peace.

btw it seems to be running better after resesting the ecu again, still not as powerful, but better.... just wanted to throw that out there

didn't your motor blew due to starvation of oil when you had the motor pulled apart instead of a "tuner's ****ty map"?

i could be wrong :shrugs:
