From a pure flow outlook, the exhaust that's on your car now would have to be significantly more restrictive...think more than stock exhaust...to have any real negative effects.
Not saying your car is not running less than it was before, but I just can't see an exhaust doing causing all that trouble.
BTW, what other mods do you have on your car?

haha you guys are a bunch of ****in stupid asses. think about it. i got tuned with a very high flowing exhaust. there for my turbo spooled faster and i got power earlier. now with a restrictive muffler im getting a lot more back pressure and not spooling as soon which throws off everything that it was tuned specifically for so i get no power and i did throw a ****in cel. i dont care what you all think is possible. i reset it and it hasnt come back but it still runs ****ty. and yea, granted i miss the sound but thats not the only reason im trading back. i admit its nice to be able to drive by cops with it at anything over 3k.
so bryan, enjoy
the rest of you. dont talk **** when you dont know whats going on

take Paul on his offer and you will know exactly what the cause of the issue is, not guess it was something you swapped out.

Hey, look what I FOUND!

I know these are the Euro exhausts, but should be the same exact thing for the Japanese and US market.
They're both 80mm bore (~3.15inches)
And both 114.3 exhaust tips (4.5inches)
Hmmmmm, HIGHER flow eh? Something does not compute, did you divide by zero some how?

I doubt the baffle would affect it that much. By the time it got to the baffle, the exhaust gases have traveled quite a bit and a foot of baffle, imo, wouldn't cause any type of hesitation or blockage of flow. But then again, I'm not a tuner So, that's just how I feel about it.
Maybe a tuner should chime in on this.
