Will a Cobb catted downpipe pass CA visual inspection?

i am moving from Miami to North Carolina and they do smog checks there which they dont do in Florida. I was just going to put the stock DP and cat back on everytime i had to do a smog check. Isnt that easier than getting a high flow cat and crossing your fingers?

So one has to fail AND you must have 50k miles or 5 years to replace with a hiflow cat. Otherwise (if one fails and have not met 50k miles or 5 year requirement), you must replace it with a stock OEM cat.
I'm almost positive he is right, and one must fail. You can't just replace it after 50k, legally.

Samowrx was just adding that one of them has to fail.
