will 235/45/17 fit on a lowered 03 wrx?

will it rub with lowering springs? i currently have 225/45/17 on 8" wide rim. would like to go little wider since ill need to replace tires soon..

How low are you?

It also depends on the offset of your wheels. I'd guess you could be ok, but more info would be good.

What apetron said. You more than likely need to roll the rear fenders, though.

There some untold variables here ^ but I hope this helps. I'm running 235/45-17 on 17x8 et.45 rims with a mild drop (struts/springs) and had to take out the rubber fender trim in the rear fenders. Still need a slight roll to avoid rub on the rears when cornering hard.

Ive got 17x9 et42 but stock at the moment(i know im looking for springs) anyways cant remember the tire size but i can def tell that anything 8/9 will need to have the fenders rolled on the rear.With the 8 maybe just light rolling.Ive got a 02

i think my offsets on my rim are 48 . now i know taking out the rubber lining is a must. feel confident in shopping for 235/45/17s now.
