Thretened?
Nah why should I be thretened. I have had a couple of SRT-4 owners give me that stare and rev their engines. I just point to my back seat where my son who is two is sitting. I may not be the slowest driver on the road by far, but I will not endanger the life of my child. If you want to race take it to the track. one guy got pissed off I wouldn't race and cut me off a little closer than I would have liked to blow by me. I am sure most drivers are normal, but dang that makes me mad when they can't understand that I won't do something stupid because I am a father.
If we were on a race track that would be a different story. Oh and I have gotten used to the STi wing. It doesn't bother me so much. My remark on the wing on a neon is that it is less designed for providing proper down force and more to look cool when compaired to the stock wings you find on EVO's and STi's.
On a side note EvoWorks makes a set of vertical fins that sit on the rear of the roof. They help channel the air back over the wing to provide even better down force. I haven't seen this for the STi yet, but according to the technical manager at work's it really does help.
I have seen dick heads in cars other than SRT-4's but I think the over all point is that at less than 20K it is within reach of a lot of kids who have not realized their own mortality yet. This means that they, and I am making a generalization here, act stupid, and push the cars beyond their abilities more than somone who is older and owns a 30K+ car.
Don't get offended by the remark, as I am basing this off my own experiance as an 18 year old.

Safety first..
Well this is true, but if you are dumb enough to hit a wall straight on a 100+ then you are kinda pushing it in my opinion.
I used be stupid when I was younger so it isn't that I totaly don't understand where they are coming from.

65-70 or even 45 if you hit that wall there is always that chance of not coming out alive.

a white SRT-4 with a "large" driver at the Automall in Fremont. We were going opposite directions and both in the inside lane. When we passed each other he propped up from his seat and gave a 2 thumbs down while doing 50+ mph. Idiot...
