As a former resident of Portola Valley, I'd have to say the most dangerous thing in Woodside is drunk soccer moms on their cell phones.

Very scary story. The important thing is you're safe.
Such a sad world in which we live in,with lowlifes like that hanging around.

Reformation...

Let's take all of the gang members, turn them loose in Iraq with one pistol, one full round in the magazine, and big American flags on their backs.

We can pull the Armed Forces out, and let them sort it out. Hmm...homeys vs. Iraqis...

Solve the problem. Figure the homey's will shoot the Iraqi's just to stay alive, and the Iraqi's will solve our crime problem.

this is one huge reason why I hate san jose and the people in it. Some people are nice and conciderate, the rest of them could rot a slow painful death by suffocation, then cut out their eyes, toung and lips.
Sorry to be so nasty, but F*CK people like this, they are the reason I don't keep a gun in my car, cause I would get out of my car and shoot them in their knee caps. No joke.

After being moving to this sh*t hole called san jose, and getting robbed, I am ready to be gone(stupid landlords wouldn't let me out of the lease). I have zerio patients for people here, or the police, they are pretty much useless most of the time. >

I am glad you are ok bro, hopefully those two cops got the worthless wastes of life that f'ed with you.

I had no idea San Jose had such a gang problem

I drive through San Jose a couple of times a month, I had no idea this was a problem. It's very scary - I've seen gangs in Oakland, which I drive down 10-15 times a month, but never seen anything in San jose. I am especially worried about guys that want to use their cars to ram you - I have never even considered that!

I don't think carrying a gun or shooting anyone will get you out of trouble. These guys don't care if they die because they don't think it will happen to them. The best you can do is not look like a victim.

Good Luck!

edgar, :/
Are you implying racism? I'm married to a mexican girl, and out of all of my friends only one is white, well kind of, he's an Israeli. I use the term monkeys quite often to fit many situations. Like: I drive like a monkey on crack, holy crap my kid is a freaking monkey, daaaaamn look at that monkey go. It's just a general term to me(I picked it up when I was in boot camp many many moons ago, it was the company commander's favorite term)

A few posts back doughboy questioned me taking up to 90. When first got into second gear I looked up in the rear view and they were plowing coming around the corner obviously giving chase, towards the end of second gear I let off a bit and I could see they were trying like hell to catch up so I burried it again, the cars I passed were in the far right lane and I was in the left lane, giving me a lane lane boundry to work with(silly me slowed down and got over into the right lane so I could turn, that's when they tried the ramming trick). Hindsight being 20/20 I could have avoided it all by not even saying a word, but under the circumstances I think I handled it ok. Frankly I would have much rather been pulled over for speeding than had these turds catch me. I make enough to hire a decent lawyer if the ticket was too nasty.

I picked up some nasty pepper spray last night, got two cans, one 16oz with a 30' range and a 4oz cop version good for 20', both are diablo 20% the meanest around. It won't stop the jerks, but it sure in the hell would slow them down. Even though I'd probably never use it, it's a small token of security that'll make me feel a bit better.

I am armed to the tooth at home, 9 handguns, 3 rifles, and 2 shotguns all but one of them in a gunsafe. Until yesterday I never saw a reason to have one in the car, and even after that I don't think having one would have diffused the situation, I don't aim at anything unless I every intention to kill it which realllllly wouldn't have done me any good.

Thanks for the comments and concern everyone

+1, bring our family members and friends back. maybe we can empty out some of the prisons too? Since my friend told me that only every other person gets ammo, it'd be a good way to clean up some of the prisons, and save our state some money.
