I'm into cars. I have preferences, but as long as someone has put all the time and effort in their cars that it deserves, then I'm all for it.

LOL nothing wrong with being ashamed of 1/2 your generation!

If there were more kids like me, instead of putting $50,000 into STi EVO 350Z etc, i'd have a 1969-72 Skyline GTR...if not then one of these-->

Datsun Roadster-$15,000
Datsun 510-$15,000
Then i'd take the $20,000 and hire a REAL model from Hollywood, maybe have a Maxim photoshoot on my car even.

Nice! Which restaurant do you usually get okonomiyaki at? Can't find anywhere decent... yet.

I was actually at S.F. J-Town that day too, renting videos.

If JR and the JDM Theory staff weren't such ASSES, I would have entered all 3 of my show cars. Boycott JDM Theory!

I go to Sapporo-Ya. I don't really know where else to get it. Any suggestions?!

Oh, Sapporo-Ya. Man, I used to practically live there haha. Then they started charging $10 for a bowl of miso ramen (deliciously evil miso ramen tho) and even charged me a $1.50 for hot tea, plus the waitresses would hate on me oooooooooh... But yeah, the okonomiyaki there's ok; just a little too thick IMHO. I kinda like okonomiyaki to be thinner and slightly crispy on the edges.

For restaurant okonomiyaki, I go to either Izumiya or Mifune-Don (the one in the Miyako Mall near the $1 store, NOT the one on restaurant row) and order the "Modernyaki". It's a Hiroshima-style dealy, where the base is a thinner okonomiyaki w/ crispy edges, then topped w/ yakisoba, then topped w/ an omlette, okonomi sauce, Kewpie mayo, shaved bonito, pickled ginger, etc. This kinda 3 layer is the minimum needed to be considered Hiroshima-style, but an old college friend of mine from there used to make a 5 layer bad boy hehe. Those 2 places are ok, but I yearn for something even better!
