I use dreamhost.com. I pay about $120 a year. 150MB of space. Suits me just fine.

they are fast though. my multimedia d/l's had krazy fast xfer speeds.

Solaris, Apache, support cgi, php, java, ftp, ssh...
SSH is secure; but ftp is not. They display your
ftp password in the non-secure admin console.
That makes everything even less secure.
