I still need a few 18'' and 20'' upper to finish off the last few lowers I have, if not I'll just keep shooting my 16''

What I really wanna do is gets some long range bolt action stuff like .308 or .30-06

it depends on the platform.

for an AR platform, the upper doesnt have the serial number so it is not considered the firearm, by the DOJ/BATF. i bought quite a few uppers and were sent to me via UPS...

for other platforms, like the MPx series by HK, the "upper" has the serial number, IIRC.

heck, when i bought 50 BMG "lower" receiver before the ban set in, the lower was nothing but 2 pieces of pipes welded together... literally. and i paid over a grand for it. lol...

ok... mostly for 2 pieces of welded pipes, but the important part was the serial number stamped on it... lol...

it was funny trying to explain to FED EX, that this pipe was considered a firearm...

The most common of my guns...

Some pistols:
1. Glock 21, .45ACP
2. Glock 17, 9mm with customizations including complete grip stippling
3. Glock 27, .40S&W ultra compact baby glock
4. Springfield XD-40, .40S&W full size
5. Springfield Arms 1911, Loaded model, .45ACP, Hitman silverballer replica

Some shotguns
6. Remington 870 Police shotgun, 12g
7. Mossberg 500 security model, 9 shots, 12g

Some rifles
8. RRA/Bushmaster AR-15 M4 clone, lots of mods. .223/5.56
9. Romanian SLR (AK clone) 7.62x39
10. Keltec SU-16B, takes AR-15 mags, .223/5.56 (folds in half!)
11. Springfield M1A SOCOM II, .308 and has various mods
12. AK-47 convert, shoots .22LR and has a folding stock (cheap to shoot)
13. Mosin Nagant M44, Russian WWII rifle with bayonet spike, shoots huge 7.62x54R bullets
14. German WWII K98, used in combat also takes large surplus ammo

I think thats a good variety. I have some duplicates that are configured differently, but the stuff listed is the stuff that people would want to shoot (most popular) and cheapest to shoot compared to some specialty pieces that use very expensive bullets, like 500S&W!

There's a couple other pieces that I can't think of right now, having a brain fart!
