Basically anything with a twill weave. From experience American Eagle and Dickies do not last, probably because they're a cotton blend not a true jean. Watch out on some of the more durable jeans, they lack spandex (what gives them stretch) so they take a while to ease into, once they finally strech they stay like that until you wash them again. If you're on a budget maybe try a surplus store?

for a surprisingly thin/comfy, not too hot in 80F+ denim yet very durable (yard work, car work, desk jockey work, all on a big guy) is the Gap 1969 jeans. i'm 6'2 and 260lbs. not exactly "small". I buy them on sale (<$50) and so far no inseam tears, stitching problems, or zipper issues. I also don't buy the pre-worn jeans as that is too fasionista for my taste.
