Hi all,

I was wondering who here has 18in wheels.

How's the ride, what tire size are you running.

Post some pics and help me convince myself to pull the trigger and get my car some wheels!

Also any Black WRX's with gold wheels I'd love to see em!

17" is all I would need for handling on a rex. I couldn't get 18" rims for looks because you couldn't get a brake kit big enough to fill all of that space.

There's a guy at work who just put 24s on his Ford SUV and it looks horrible, IMO. The factory disc brakes look miniscule inside of those giant chromed wheels and super-thin low profile tires. At first glance, it looks like the brake pads can be changed without removing the rims! Also looks like chrome wooden wagon train or stage coach wheels. He's really happy with his rims, though, so that's what matters.

babysmurf,

Nice setup, one question did you have to roll your fenders? I thought anything over 225/40/18 would rub..
Thanks!

yes i had to roll my fenders... but! you can fit i think up to 245's and still be ok.. it all depends on the offset of your wheels...
so3's traditionally run a little wider than other tires as well, but after rolling my rear fenders, i am totally fine

forgot to add.. the ride's not too bad. i think in general it's my suspension that gives me grief...

215-40, no rolling, no rubbing.
