that blows, rip.
Hard to say if a blow out could have caused it. If you just slam on the brakes after a tire blows out, it's not the best idea. So that theory is out the window........kinda like hitting the brakes in a fishtail. You can't try and use all the full braking power missing a front tire or you are going to get squirly.

Hard to say if a blow out could have caused it. If you just slam on the brakes after a tire blows out, it's not the best idea. Unfortunately, it didn't cost him HIS life, it cost the life of an innocent passenger.

We had a similar incident last week. High rate of speed versus a guardrail, 5 people in the vehicle. Driver got his number called, the rest were fortunately moderate injuries considering the condition of the vehicle.

I just watched the news and the car is an older white 93-01 Impreza Wagon.
Looked like it had the stock hubcaps on. They also showed that the rescuers had to cut the roof off.
Highly doubt it was modded...
