A sticky would kick ****. Good idea.

I guess you didn't find the 5 other threads of the same question where I gave them 2-3 different places to go for an alignment? So in spite of what you think I do help. You thought the sticky was a good idea right?

I can be a total *** and help right? It's like being a an ******* teacher that you hate him for but you also get alot of info out of him if you read between the jaded lines.

Oh and BTW, you must not have searched very hard. I searched in the bay area forums with the keyword "alignment":

https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...ight=alignment

https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...ight=alignment

https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...ight=alignment

https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...ight=alignment

That's just from the first 2 pages of search results out of 7. How the hell is that "F*CK ALL"?

next.

I wouldn't go anywhere else than Roger Kraus Racing

www.rogerkrausracing.com

They're in Castro Valley, you have a racecar driver aligning your car on properly calibrated equipment, and the best service around.

They are the only shop I bring my alignments to, and they consistently exceed expectations.

Unlike A.I., they are equipped and skilled enough to do corner-weighting for you coilover folks.

Plus you get to see real racecars getting worked-on while you're there...

Brandon Kraus, the head alignment tech, used to race for years in the NASCAR Southwest Series, and is moving up to Trans-Am cars.

He has helped both Gary Sheehan and Brian Lock set up their racecars for the track.

First off, I would like to say thank you for your time. I mean, wow - that's dedication.

What I did: Went to the Bay Area Forum main page, clicked the word "search" and typed the word "alignment" in the little box that popped up. Once the page loaded, I started looking at the thread titles for something to do with alignment.

I know you help a lot. It's cool. You know I thought the sticky was a good idea because I said: Good idea.

You can be however you want to be - as long as you acknowledge that other people can too. I wasn't taking the ****, I really did go and search and look through a few threads on the first two pages. I guess I used the method known as "The Wrong Way."

And no - I didn't search very hard. But I did SEARCH which is more than most people do. As I type this I remember I posted a "where do I get an alignment" post when I put in my springs. Someone suggested AI and I felt dumb again. Wee.

I didn't see anything helpful (cept this thread) regarding alignment when I searched. That's how that's "****all" to me, your results may vary. I did not look at each thread individually tho.

Next time I will search better. I was just trying to point out that even when someone tries, they can fail - and they will still get *****ed at by someone who... Maybe just misunderstood. Yay for internet. Some dude without a face just delivered my shortblock I have been waiting for months to recieve so I am gonna go stare at pretty metal things.

+1 for Custom Alignment. They offer the same professional level of services Group B is describing, but in the South Bay. They have worked on any car I have taken on the track, and will help you make your car do whatever you want it to do.

Prices that will make your knees weak though... You get what you pay for... I have taken my cars to a LOT of places and to-date CA is the only place I have never had to bring a car back to. The only.

The MT crew is a great bunch of guys! Known a bunch of them, including Ron (co-owner), Wee & Mark (techs) for a while. Jack (alignment guy) has a lot of experience too!

I highly recommend Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley. That is where my racecars go, period. Brandon is an expert, has LOTS of experience with many types of cars and is a good guy on top of that.

If you have them do a corner-weight and alignment, they also provide a very nice booklet with all of your before and after specs on it. Very good for tracking changes to your alignment and performance gains.

Roger and Brandon have always been great to work with and I will continue to do business with them.

Couldn't agree more. I took my WRX there last year on Gary's recommendation and they did a great job. The book is a nice touch.

Pretty impressive specs for Roger Kraus Racing!

For convenience sake, and cause they've been getting a lot of my business for the last 4 years with nary a hitch, I've scheduled with Auto Innovations. thanks, folks!
