Can't remember the name of the place. It's a hole in the wall but you can't miss it.

jack is the only asian dude there. Korean I believe. He cut my hair for like 5 years strait maybe more while I worked in S.F.

old school barber shop. Couple russians and jack. Think they're russian anyways. Always seemed kind of mafia to me..haaa.

jack has the first chair. Right between a restaurant and a corner store. Literally on the corner.

been a while since I've been there.

yeah. some say they can but it's really just a fade with long hair on top. A true pomp you gotta go old school or find a greaser.

My girl shea does a pretty killer one but she is in S.C.

Thanks OneManArmy, I'll try to check them out some time

To me a pompadour (or "regent", as they call it in Japan) is more than just slicked back hair. It's tall in the front, pulled back and down in the rear and sides so that you get that distinctive shape. I might consider fading the sides for the sake of convenience though, I dunno yet heh heh.

I had mine done like that once.

Tall up front. Sides where short but the back was longer. It was kind of like a mohawk. Not crazy long in the back. but the top rolled into it so you could duck tail it if you want.

My buddy dan has a CRAZY one.

if you're willing to make the drive over the bridge (golden gate) my wife is a hairstylest. and could hook it up right. she travels all over the world to stay on top of her game with new trends. She was brought up with Vidal Sassoon training she just got back from the Redken exchange in New York.
let me know...
